Merge traffic, music and template based events
to make an "automation ready" schedule. "Must-Fill Breaks" automatically add the proper amount of events to "pad" a spot break to the desired length. Since many traffic
systems do not have this ability, Power-Merge is the logical solution for this otherwise time consuming daily task. During satellite hours (or for whatever reason) frequently there are strict requirements
requiring that the radio station provide local programing (commercials, psa's, promos) for a designated amount of time. These breaks must be filled to avert an embarrassing early return to satellite
programming. The "must fill commands" are individually configured to render a maximum level of control over: the amount of time to be filled, the events can can fill the break, the starting time
of the resulting break, a "return to satellite command" if the break is not taken at all and a powerful method to prioritize the order of the events in the break.
Recalculate timing
(considering ALL program elements) to ensure accurate time stamps.
Regular and Dynamic Template merging allows for the creation of custom template routines to enhance schedule creation.
Our Self
naming "dynamic carts" numbers to identify unique events on a daily basis. This allows cart number to be generated based on the day of the week, hour of day, how many times that cart has been used
as well as static characters. For formats producing a "live sound" using prerecorded liners, this allows a very methodic and dependable manner of automatically naming the carts. In many cases
these has alleviated program directors from having to produce a clock for every hour of the week!
Control segue styles of events as needed. A schedule would not be complete unless the desired segue
patterning were correct. Power-Merge can control precisely how one event will advance to the next. In automation systems that support this characteristic in the schedule file (ENCO, AudioVault, AVAir,
Digital Universe, Digi-Link and others) this allows the desired pre scheduled "segues" to be in place when the schedule hits the air. Are all events to segue? Should the system stop at the
beginning and /or end of each commercial break? If so, what hours of the week should have which characteristic? Does the morning show require a different type of segue pattern than the midnight hours?
These questions address just the beginning issues that we tackle when fully preparing your station's automation files. Every hour of the week's pattern is individually controlled though a simple to use
matrix.
Manage up to 15 stations from a single implementation.
Technical support and training is provided on an initial sixty-day basis and can be supplemented with a comprehensive technical
support plan which includes upgrades, additional training and emergency support.
Auto time update controls provides an automatic and dependable method to add the needed synchronization commands
(branching or go to commands) for desired full automation characteristics.
Time use reports show the time use of the current play list by hour or by the entire day.
Versatile traffic break
commands permit dependable placement of commercial clusters in the music line up.
