we were able to integrate their various traffic
systems to the AirWaves system and provide full closed
loop automation reconciliation. WBAL even
prompted Power-Link to incorporate a cool system for
merging in promo events scheduled in RCS's Linker
omitting any extra steps to accomplish the process.

the unique needs of the nationwide radio station P4 Hele Norge.

installed at new Ackerley (New Century Media) Site As 4 stations were rushed to get moved to their new state-of-the-art studios, Power-Link worked with the traffic department using both
Power-Link and Power-Merge to accomplish the demands of KUBE, KJR-Fm, KJR-Am and KFNK. Each one of these stations had very demanding and unique needs. Full closed-loop reconciliation for JDS was
accomplished using Power-Link and JDS-Link.

"things might go a lot better with Power-Link"! So after a quick phone call and putting the wraps on our deal the manuals were overnighted and the
software was installed using PCAnywhere (C) - Symantec). The folks at WCKG were happy to see their automation system's transfer working by the end of the week as scheduled.

Clear Channel Tampa switches to Prophet with Power-Link
The mega-opoly of Jacor in Tampa was recently faced with a few unique challenges as it's mission was to change all of the existing automation
systems to the Wizard by Prophet. But how does a half dozen stations continue to use the existing system(s) yet start sending test logs to the new
system for a test period? Well with the many fields of information available to the user in their traffic system, Power-Link was quickly
configured to see the traffic system's logs and look to a different field for it's cart number. The result was that the conversion to the new cart
numbering scheme was done over a couple of weeks and testing could commence and run simultaneous to the on-air system.

Broadcast Corp in San Diego builds Logs with Power-Link As we have been serving the many facilities of Heftel, one of the latest
(San Diego) came with a "twist". It turns out that in a month they will change traffic systems so there is no need to spend the bucks on an
interface to the current (soon to be defunct) system. What can we do? Power-Link made a few quick modifications to our powerful "color-key"
editor and quickly allowed the creation and duplication of one commercial log to another. The result? Logs in an efficient manner, with reconciliation and a savings of several thousand dollars.

Renda Broadcastings new Site in Oklahoma City puts their DCS "in gear" with Power-Link
Power-Link and DCS were among the finishing touches going into the new Renda facility in Oklahoma City. We would like to thank WC Irvin of
Computer Concepts for his support and assistance to pull this last minute system together. Rumor has it that their programming department is
interested in reconciling their music so at compile time, the history correctly reflects what has happened even to the last hour. Way to go guys! Since
we've been doing this in Canada, we are all ready set for you.

KSL - Salt Lake City ties ENCO and JDS together with Power-Link, JDS-Link and Power-Merge We are now installing Power-Link and Power-Merge to transfer, merge
and reconcile KSL's daily logs for JDS. Using JDS's "JDS-Link" program (upgraded for win95) KSL will be the first radio station with full closed
loop functionality using the JDS traffic system. Like other top station's KSL will additionally be using Power-Merge to proof and assemble the
final log file as it heads to the ENCO in the control room. The operation of JDS-Link has been integrated into Power-Link giving operators the ease
and simplicity of having the program pop-up just when they need it.

These stations have a unique challenge as they air several sports affiliations. Power-Link was employed to provide accurate and efficient means to
reconcile commercials played for both regular radio programming and sports programming as well. This provided some interesting challenges as they will frequently change
stations in the middle of a sports event to avoid preempting other scheduled programs. This required Power-Link to add an method to
pick-up the "as-play information" (raw playback air data from the digital playback) in a "free-form" style. Once the sports event has played they retrieve the needed as-play
information from the appropriate station(s), time and date(s). During the reconciliation they are alerted to any missed, changed or inserted spots as
well as having the traffic system update all of the billable events with the exact air-time. One of the other great advantages of this powerful as-play selection system
is that is allows east coast stations to air sporting events played on the west coast that run over midnight.

WGSM - Radio Disney - Long Island, NY Using Power-Merge (for ENCO DAD Pro) template system they have been able to cut the scheduling time to just a few minutes! This is not just a
matter of just adding a few extra commands to the daily spot schedule but as well, the assured proper segue values and using PM's "fill command",
they are padding their satellite timed spot sets to the appropriate length as well as being warned when they are over the allocated spot-set time. In this
case PM is quickly and consistently handling the full preparation of the play list saving their staff significant time for each and every daily play list produced.
1997 KIRO - KNWX - Seattle, WA Power-Link enabled the traffic staff to accurately reconcile though the
playback occurred in different studios with even different types of digital playback systems. Due to the requirement for a separate "satellite feed"
simultaneous to the local broadcast of the Seattle Mariner's games, Power-Link developed the ability to "sense and collect" the additional as-play information.
Now when they reconcile the daily logs, Power-Link will detect the presence of additional information in a second and potentially third studio
location. This system has proven to save them countless hours in the reconciliation process and providing concise post-log reports reflecting actual air times and airing discrepancies.
1997 KFMB - AM/FM - San Diego, CA Using Power-Merge's "dynamic template" system they are able to place
their sport's affiliations into the daily play list file though it was statically scheduled at a different time. Like many other traffic systems, their system
is set up to schedule a sports event at the same time on each day that the sports event is scheduled. To properly air these events not only the traffic
content must be moved to the actual starting time (which may change from day to day) but as well the template containing the additional events to air the event correctly must be moved.
Power-Merge gives them the non-destructive ability to assemble these play list in a very time efficient manner. Once the play list is assembled, it can
be viewed, edited and printed to provide a resource for the control room.
Since 1995 TELEMEDIA
- British Columbia, Canada Thanks to the great support and assistance of the folks at RCS, we have
enabled a closed loop reconciliation of music using Selector & Linker* and Power-Link. Like many other broadcasters in the USA and Canada, using
Power-Link, OSG had been reconciling their commercials' playback back to their traffic system. Then it became discovered that significant time and
money savings could be reaped if the same reconciliation logic could be applied to their music content as well. Working closely with Ron Clark of OSG and Paul McKnight of RCS in
Canada, we have accomplished this task in the same time efficient manner as our reconciliation of hundreds of radio sites. Now after each broadcast
day, Power-Link updates Selector* with the actual times of air play and rebuilds the music air play history without the events that were dropped.
As their automation is set to drop songs at the end of almost every hour, this represents a significant savings in the area of payment for music rights in Canada.
